For Spa Flow mobile massage, May is a special month to show appreciation to the individuals who guide and nurture us and those who protect our freedom and country. Teachers and Nurses appreciation week was from May 6th through the 10th. This was a time we recognized and showed praise for all the dedication and hard work that teachers and nurses give in their profession
Mother’s Day was on May 12th and Father’s Day is around the corner on June 16th. But you don’t need a holiday to pamper those that care for you. If you’re still looking for a way to appreciate Mom, Dad, Teachers or anyone you care about, Spa Flow Mobile Massage has you covered. Why not give a gift certificate for an in-home massage or schedule a 60 or 90 minute service? This is the perfect time to introduce or reintroduce them to the wonderful gift of massage!
Did You Know?
A recent study in the journal, “Alternative Therapies” reports that a 15-minute massage reduces levels of the adrenocorticotropic hormone (a stress chemical) by 7 percent and increases hormoneoxytocin, a “feel good” hormone by 17 percent. It has been proven that as we lower stress, the immune system tends to work better, so getting a massage can protect you from illness. Spring is a time of renewal and rejuvenation and adding regular massage to your wellness plan is beneficial for detoxification, metabolism, cellulite reduction and stress management.
We’ve all been anticipating spring and the beginning of summer, which kicks off on Memorial Day on May 27th. Memorial Day is to honor the service men and women who gave their lives and is the first day of the season that most families come together for picnics and barbecues and to enjoy the outdoors. Here’s to vacations, summer’s off for our teachers and taking some much needed “Me time”.
