Teacher Appreciation Chair Massage 

This is our 2nd year were invited to provide chair massage at this Philadelphia Charter school. To honor their teachers for teacher appreciation month in May they invited our massage therapist to provide 10 minute chair massages for their teachers and staff. The school has 4 campuses and approximately 250 staff and wanted to accommodate their entire staff without the staff having to go too far from their buildings. Teachers typically do not have much time to be away from the classroom so we had to make sure to keep the massage areas as close as possible to teachers location.

Because this is a multiple campus school we offered the chair massages over 4 days and in 4 different building on 4 different campuses. This allowed all of the staff to participate. We were also able to provide online scheduling so that teachers were able to sign-up for their massage sessions based on their location and availability. The school was able to fund the chair massages using their wellness dollars provided by their insurance provider. What a great way to promote wellness and show staff appreciation!
